Steve Moses, president and founder, built Tiburon Divers to be an innovative leader dedicated to safety, integrity, and customer satisfaction. A graduate of the Divers Institute of Technology, he started working for an offshore commercial diving company in 1984. Rising through the ranks of commercial diving, Steve soon began working in sales for an oil and gas company. For the next 15 years, he continued working for a wide variety of oil and gas companies until he became the sales manager for a commercial dive company. With his combined knowledge of both industries, Steve decided it was time to create a dive company with a different blueprint for success. A company that was customer-focused, family-oriented, and with a corporate culture open to different ideas. This company would build its success on values such as hard work, integrity and mutual respect, with an emphasis on having fun while doing outstanding work for customers; a diver-friendly culture that would base growth on merit.

Steve began to reach out to like-minded business entrepreneurs, creating an alliance of visionaries whose sole focus was on creating a company that would raise the bar in the commercial diving industry. Then, in early 2005, he purchased a small, inland commercial diving company and, with seven ambitious employees on board, Tiburon Divers, Inc. set sail.

Since that time, Tiburon has experienced tremendous growth, now with over 250 employees, including top executives with over 100 years cumulative experience in the industry. Tiburon Divers, Inc. has also officially incorporated two subsidiary companies: Tiburon Marine and Tiburon Caribe. To further their expansion in the inland market, Tiburon also acquired G&G Marine, an inland dive company, in December of 2006.
