5/7/2008 – Tiburon Divers Qualifies New Welding Procedures. Houston, Texas – May 7, 2008 – An upcoming project will require Tiburon Divers to perform new underwater welding procedures. Clint Anthony, Tiburon’s Technical Services Coordinator, and Accurate Weldment Testing, a testing and consulting company, worked together to define the procedures.
The procedure for a class “C” fillet weld has been qualified in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) D3.6M. The procedure covers up to 50/55 grade steel from .250” to .750” in all positions. Currently five divers have qualified and additional divers are training to test.

1/2/2008 – Tiburon Divers Introduces Diver’s Eye. New Service Provides a Visual Link into Offshore Operations.
Houston, Texas – January 2, 2008 - Tiburon Divers has launched a remote video streaming service called Diver’s Eye to provide clients with a real-time visual link
into offshore operations. The service enables monitoring and inspection of subsea structures and remote facilities via streaming video.
With Diver’s Eye, there is no waiting for project updates – information is received instantly. The service is web-based and can be simultaneously accessed by multiple
parties via computer, regardless of physical proximity to the work site.

7/20/2007 – Tiburon Divers is pleased
to announce the purchase of Sea-Brex Marine, Inc in Stevensville,
Michigan. According to Steve Moses, president

7/2/2007 – Tiburon Divers is proud to
announce... The promotion of Gregory Bellew,
Monte Dutcher and Michael Reed from tender to Class III diver.

4/24/2007 – Tiburon Marine, LLC opens its
doors. Tiburon Marine, LLC, a division of Tiburon
Divers, will officially open the doors of their new headquarters in
Amelia, LA.
4/16/2007 – M/V Hammerhead completed
addition. M/V Hammerhead completed addition of a new 12
ton crane and the modification of the A-frame to allow it to be
removed.
2/1/2007 – M/V Thresher completed 4 point
conversion and added a 22 ton crane. The boat is 180’ x
44’ wide. The vessel has built in hydraulics and compressors,
Caprock communication system, and an integrated dive control shack
for a larger clear deck area. Solas classed and is currently
working a long term contract.
